KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR LITTLE BOY KILLED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 22. David Douglas (aged 6), of Itemucra, was knocked down and killed by a motor car on the road outside the police station at Pemuera. He was taken to the hospital, but died_ a few moments after admission. It is stated that the boy was standing on the footpath close to the police station, when he suddenly ran across the road in front of an approaching car. He was the son of Mr and Mrs W. Douglas, of Lochiel Road.
