ASSOCIATION FORMED
HIGH OFFICE BEARERS
LONDON, May 10. Sporting Life says that, culminating in Mile. Lenglen’s, Vincent Richards’s and Mary Browne’s change-over a Lawn Tennis Professionals’ Association has been formed in London, - assisting professionals to obtain a proper status in the lawn tennis world. The preliminary executive consists of leading British professionals. The president is Sir Samuel Hoare, and the vice-presidents include Sir Philip Sasson, Lord Charles Hope, WingCommander Creig, Colonel Kingscote and Sir Gerald du Maurier.
The objects of the association include tournaments for trophies, cash prizes and charitable purposes. The executive is instituting a benevolent fund, granting proficiency coaching certificates, and assisting members with trading rights, and improving their conditions of employment.
