CORRUGATED HIGHWAYS
INSPECTED BY DISTRICT ENGINEER. Mr R. H. P. Ronayne, District Highways Engineer, was met at Foxton yesterday by members and engineer of the Manawatu County Council, and an inspection was made of the notorious corrugated highways between Foxton and Himatangi and Rangiotu. It is anticipated that as a result of the inspection and conference, a scheme will be evolved whereby these highways will be put in order.
