SOCCER.

FOXTON DEFEAT RANGERS,

Foxton journeyed to Palmerston North on Saturday where they created no small surprise when they turned tables on their formidable opponents, and emerged victorious by 3 goals to 1. The game throughout was of a rather scrappy nature, which possibly was due to the fact that both slippery. For the winners Perrier (2) and Sinclair scored, and McAvinue did likewise for Rangers.

Mr. J. Forbes was in charge of the game.
