BOROUGH FINANCE.
TREASURER’S STATEMENT. The treasurer reported as follows at last night’s meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of April the sum of £732 13s lid was received and banked as follows: —District fund account £717 9s 6d, cemetery aeeount £7, drainage construction loan account £8 4s sd. The ledger balances at the 30th April were as follows:—Accoiata at debit totalled £BB3 2s 8d and were made up as follows: —Imprest cash £lO, gasworks £344 11s Id, hospital and charitable aid £5 5s 7d, interest £523 6s Od. The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £140:4s 2d, drainage construction loan £67 13s lOd, general £47 Os 9d, library £IOO 8s lOd, reserves £194 15s lOd, R/S No. 3 loan £1514 19s lid, Town Hall £96 Is lOd, Town Hall pictures £lll 12s 3d, waterworks £75 6s lOd. SUMMARY. Ac. at debit 883 2s 8d Cr. Bal. Drainage Loan. 61 Is Od Cr. Bal. Cemetery 140 4s 2d Cr. Bal. R/S No. 3 Loan 1514 19 11 Dr. Bal. Dist.
