FOXTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. RESOLUTION STRIKING RATE. XOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, and the Rating Act, with their respective Amendments, if any, the Foxton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a General Rate of fourpence and fiveeighths of a penny in the £; a Library Rate of one-eighth of a penny in the £, and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of fifteen-thirtysec-onds of a penny in the £, on the Unimproved Value of all the rateable property in the Borough of of Foxton, and a Water Supply Rate of six pounds per centum on the Annual Value of all land and buildings to which water is supplied, and a minimum charge of ten shillings on all such land and buildings the annual value whereof does not exceed twelve pounds ten shillings; also a Water Supply Rate of one half the above amounts on all land and buildings situated within one hundred yards of any water main to which water can be but is not supplied: Such Rates to be for a period commencing on the Ist April, 1927, and terminating on the 31st March, 1928, the said rates to be ilpe and payable in one sum on the 23rd May,' 1927, at the Town Clerk’s Office, Main Street, Foxton; alsb that a discount of 2 1 per cent, be allowed oil all Rates paid in full on or before the 22nd June, 1927.
