The Herald stall acknowledge wedding favours from Mr and Mrs lan Ross, and extend to them best wishes for their future happiness and prosperity.
The friends of Mrs. H. B. Cresswell will regret to learn that she is at present an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital, where she underwent a serious operation last Tuesday. The Girl Guides entertained Miss Dent, their leader, in All Saints’ schoolroom last night, and made her the recipient of a volume of poems. The presentation was made by Miss Hussey, and the Guides circled round their leader and sung a Maori farewell. Miss Dent feelingly acknowledged the good wishes and gift. Refreshments were provided, and a pleasant time spent.
