SOCCCER.
On Saturday Foxton met Athletic at Palmerston North, the home - team winning by 7 goals to 1. The blacks had the better of the game all through, and put on 4 goals to their opponent’s one in the first halt, and added three more in the second spell. Foxton being unable to add to their total. For the winners goals were scored by YVhitehouse (3), Askam (3) and Beer (1), and G. Mounsev scored Foxton.’s solitary goal.
