THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S
REPORT.
The High Commissioner’s cableegram, of 30th April reads Hemp Manila market has declined but closed steadier with business in “J” grade, April-June and May-July shipments at £4O. The sisal market is easier. Selling quote No. 1, May-July shipments at £37 15s. The New Zealand market, is without interest on account of Manila easing. There are no buyers at present and value is nominal Buyers might consider business at £34 to £34' 10s for high points and £33 to £33 10s for fair.
