PALMERSTON NORTH OR MANAWATU?
The Levin Chamber of Commerce at Thursday night’s meeting endorsed the Foxton Chamber’s objection to the suggested name of Manawatu being substituted foi that of Palmerston North, while not objecting to the name being changed. Similar endorsement has been given to the Chamber!* objection by Focal bodies throughout the Manawatu electorate;
