ENTERTAINMENTS.

“BLARNEY.”

At the Town Hall to-night the big attraction will be the melodrama “Blarney.” The main character roles are portrayed by Renee Adoree and Ralph Graves, supported by Malcolm Waite, Paulette Duval and Bull Montana. The action of the story takes pla,ce in Ireland and America, and ervolves around James Carabine, champion fighter of Ireland;, who is forcibly emigrated to the new world. There he once more enters the pugilistic sphere, and fights his way to the world’s championship. But he does not win this great distinction without experiencing many adventures. “Blarney” is a clean and wholesome picture, replete with endless thrills and a delightful love interest, and presents a fascinating aspect of “the good old days.” Ralph Graves, a imagnificent physical specimen, is unusually convincing as James Carabine, and Renee Adoree makes her part exceedingly attractive. Also “Creeps” (comedy), N.Z. Scenic and News. Usual prices. It isn’t often that the public can see two shows at one time;, but it can be done at the Town Hall on Monday, where “All Around Frying Pan,” Fred Thomson’s latest starring vehicle, is being exhibited. The famous Alturas Round-up, one of the blue ribbon cowboy events of the west, is only part of this latest Master Picture release. Frank Richardson Pierce wrote the original story, and Director David Kirklaml himself adapted the story to the screen in such a manner that the noted rodeo is part of the action —with the star and Silver King as contestants! Silver King as a bucking, wild eyed, outlaw horse will also be an interesting actor; for Silver is not naturally a bad actor. Wjiitli supporting pictures at usual prices. Metro-Gold wyn-Mayer’s Epic Production, “The Big Parade,” will be presented on Thursday and Friday next. Box plan at Heaths.
