A visitor at Thursday night’s meeting of the Foxton Chamber of Commerce was Mr. R. G. Millen, acting manager of the local branch of the Bank of N.Z. In responding to the chamber’s welcome, Mr Milieu said the Foxton he had visited some years ago was hardly recognisable with the Foxton of to-day. He felt sure that much ol' the progress noticeable was due to the activities of the Chamber.
