FOXTON’S SHOPPING WEEK.
The Mayor and Mr Scott made a canvass of local business people this morning in connection with the proposed shopping week. They report that those waited upon evinced keen interest in the proposal to hold a Shopping Week, and promised financial assistance. The sub-committee will meet tonight to discuss proposals to submit to a general meeting to be held at a later date.
