M e are pleased to state that our committee were unanimous in donating £5 towards “The Lady King Fellowship,” thereby showing our appreciation of this propressive move. We wish to place on record our great regret during the year, death having removed Lady Truby King, one of the ablest pioneers in the work. Mrs. F. McDonald, vice-president, who had been a member of the committee for over four years, removed to Pahiatua in August of last year. Mrs. Austin-Jolmston was elected president when this snb-brancli was formed in 1921 and has taken a very active interest in the work but recently she took up her residence in Wellington. Prior to her departure Mrs. Austin-Jolmston was entertained by the members at a farewell tea, and presented with a token of esteem and remembrance.
