ALLEGED THEFT.
LARGE SUM INVOLVED
Christchurch, April 7,
George Cecil Neild, charged with having, on February* 16th, at Ashburton, stolen from Thomas Maurice Clark £IOO, was remanded for a week. The police said the accused admitted he had failed to account for a smn of between £4,000 and £5,000.
