NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
AT PALMERSTON NORTH The twenty-lfth of these big Winter Erhibition is timed to take* place on tlie large and commodious showgrounds at Palmerston North, on the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th June next. Nothing is ommitted from this fine show, from the school classes to the butter and cheese championships. The prize schedules which are now available, and may be had post free on application to the secretary, are replete with cash prizes, sups and trophies, and a very attractive list of classes is included amongst which are competitive classes for fat stock, ring competitions, roots, vegetables, honey, seed and grain, home cookery, preserves, photography, needlework, etc. General entries will close on Tuesday 31st May, and intending exhibitors should send for a prize list right away, and get their entries in early. Judging from the numerous application for space which are being received.the large and well appointed halls will be taxed to the limit. There will be fine displays of dairy and other machinery? mercantile exhibits, besides the various novelty exhibits which should be greatly appreciated by the ordinary spectator.
In conjunction w T ith the main event will be held the Manawatu Poultry Association’s Annual Show' and a separate prize list is issued for this section which should be specially asked for when making application. All other information may be had from the secretary, P.O. Box 85, Palmerston North.
