ANNUAL BALANCE-SHEET,
The audit balance-sheet for of the local High School Committee was presented at Monday’s meeting and the secretary was complimented upon its completeness. The receipts totalled £644 13s lid, which included a credit balance curried over from the previous year of £124 18s 9d. Capitation and allowances £lB7 Os Od, subsidies £124 Os Od (earned in previous years), school picnic £2O 13s Bd, rent school residence and grant for High school £45, concert £25 Os lOd and other miscellaneous items and donations totalling the balance. The expenditure totalled £545 17s lOd. The principal items of expenditure were: stationery, printing', etc., £23 13s 9d, fuel and lighting £6O 7s sd, cleaning £155 15s Bd, picnic £23 14s Bd, contributions deposited with Education Board £66 Is 3d, ground impovements £Bl 13s Od, library £25 2s 3d, tennis court renovation £3O 3s lid, and other items making up the total, leaving a credit balance of £O6 16s Id.
