BOROUGH OF PALMERSTON NORTH.
WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD ELECTION.
Pursuant to the provisions of ‘The Harbours’ Act 1923,” and regulations thereto, and “The Local Elections and Polls Act 1925,” and its amendments, I hereby notify that I shall on Wednesday the 27th (fay of April 1927, hold an Election for tho purpose of electing two members to represent the undermentioned combined District on the Wellington Harbour Board: The combined District comprises the Boroughs of Palmerston North, Foilding, Foxton, Levin, Shannon and Otaki, and the counties of Manawatu, Oroua, Horowlienua, Pohanginaj Kairanga and Iviwitea.
Nominations of candidates will he received at the Town Clerk’s office, the Square, Palmerston North, up to noon on Wednesday, the 13th day of April 1927. A deposit of £3 in cash must accompany each nomination.
