ENTERTAINMENTS.

“MANTRAP.” Clara Bow and Percy Marmont are cast as two sides of the well known eternal triangle, in “Mantrap,” at the Town Hall'Cabaret tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. Ernest Torrence is seen as the third party. “Mantrap,” which is adapted from Sinclair Lewis’ latest novel, is an unusual love drama, one that is decidedly far from the beaten track. The locale takes one from the crowded canyons of New York’s streets to the wilds of Canada’s woods. It tells the story of a flirting flapper and the havoc she caused in the lives of' two men in particular. Also “Copper Butt Ins” comedy and latest News. Cabaret prices.

On Friday evening “The Waning Sex” will head the list. This picture tells in a humorous manner of the younger generation of women who firmly believe theirs is the dominant sex, that every woman should have a career, and that men no longer rule the universe. Norma Shearer and Conrad Nagel are the stars. “Rin Tin Tin” the wonder dog will head Saturday’s programme in “Below the Line.” Whilst Svd. Chaplin’s “Better Ole” is announced for next week.
