BOWLING.
The Committee of the Foxton Bowling Club, at last meeting, decided to hold n series of five-hund-red card tournaments at Mr J. M. Thomson’s residence, commencing on Thursday, April 7th. Good prizes and supper will be given, together with aggregate prizes at the end of the season. Further particulars will be advertised next week. The team to play for the Dixon Cup next week will he chosen from the following members: — Messrs Thomson, E. Huntley, Christie, Walton, Jno. Ross, Admore, Newth.
