“THE SEVENTH BANDIT.”
Heading the programme at the Town Hall to-morrow (Friday) evening is a fine Western story, “The Seventh Bandit,” in which Harry Carey plays the name part. The plot tells of a young man who joins a gang of six bandits in order to trace the murder of his brother, and to bring to book the leader of a collection of desperadoes who have terrorised the countryside. Needless to say, the plot calls for fast action and exciting episodes. The magic pen of Peter B. Kyne has given the screen many of its greatest successes, but none greater than “War Paint,” which heads Saturday night’s programme. The scene is the Bed Indian frontier in the adventurous days when redskin and paleface battled for the mastery. The cast is headed by Colonel Tim McCoy, famous as the “Friend of the Redskins,” who is supported by hundreds of real Redskins from the Wyoming Indian Reservation. Pauline Staike is the leading lady. Prices for this specially booked featire are to remain as usual.
