PRESBYTERIAN SUNDAY SCHOOL.
ANNUAL PICNIC. The annual picnic postponed from the privious week was held at the beach on Saturday. The weather was fine and the children had a good time. The buses conveying the children left at 10.30 a.m. and arrived back at 5.30. Games occupied the time till lunch was ready. During the afternoon a sports programme was carried out. Downes 3. Consolations for 12 and 13 years. —M. King 1; R. Munn 2; Maud King 3. 11 years: M. Stevenson 1; M. MeKilight 2; A. Barron 3. 10 years: M. Thynne 1: R. Wishart 2. !) years: J. Barron 1; D. Barron 1. ” Mesdanmes Nicholas, John Ross, McEwen, Downes and the teaching staff together with Mr. Nicholas and other helpers spared no pains to give the children a good time. The school is indebted to Mr. John Bett for a gift of prize boohs.
