PROUD OF THE FORCE

POLICE COM MI SSI ON EH' S COMMENDATION. Wellington, Yesterday. The Commissioner of Police. Air. Mollveney, who arrived back from the South this morning, stated that so far as the police wore concerned, no better result could possibly have been anticipated. He said that not a single complaint was made against any member of the special detachment. No accidents occurred and no crimes wcrccommitled during the time their Royal Highnesses were in the Dominion —a record of which he might, in all humility, say he was proud. He was also proud of the members of the New Zealand police force.
