We have just received the following reviews from Messrs Gordon and Gotch (Australia), Ltd: — The “Corner Magazine,” February. number contains a new football story by Sydney liorler. “Life’s a Game,” and a new and thrilling adventure of the “Elusive Picaroon.” Also a series of thrilling adventures “Under the Black Flag,” a conspiracy planned by six men in one of the convict prisons and led by one Nicolai, they break bounds, lighting grimly and escape. The February number is up to a very good standard, and should have a \cry wide appeal. This issue contains a long complete novel by Horace Annonley Vaehell, “Humouring Uncle,” a new and delightful comedy by the author of “Quinnev’s” and “The Hill.” Other stories bv Frank Swinnerton. Warwick Deaping, X. It. Wet jun.. Frank 11. Shaw, etc. Weldon’s Ladies' .Journal March number contains free patterns of new bolero and dress and lady’s stylish gown.
