• Many a good story is told about smoking and smokers. The latest comes from Auckland. A bricklayer was called sharply to account by his foreman for smoking “on the job.” “I’m not smoking,” he replied. But your pipe is in your mouth,” declared the angry foreman. “That’s right,” said the bricklayer. “And my boots are on my feet, but I’m not walking.” Theforeman passed on.
