Besides these events the programme contains a lengthy list of running, cycling, dancing, and horse events. On Wednesday, April tith., the Oroua Downs Sports Club will hold their eleventh annual meeting on Messrs Slratfords' grounds, ut Oroua Downs. Here again a lengthy programme of events will he submitted. Afternoon tea will lie available on the grounds, and hot water will he free. The Mannwatu Highland Pipe Band will he. in attemdaneo to liven the proceedings up "with a musical programme. In the evening a dance will be held in the Oroua. Downs Hall, at which Hori George’s orchestra will provide the music.
