TENNIS NOTES.
On Saturday afternoon a doubles tournament was held on the local counts and proved most enjoyable. The Kiwis defeated the Tuis by 11 sets and 87 games to 7 sets and 77 games. The following is the B 'team to play Bulls at Foxton on Saturday : Warwick, Bree, McMurray, Ball, Cowley, Stevenson, Misses Peryman, Speirs, Roore, Haydock, Woods, Gower. Players are requested to be on the ground by 1.30 p.m., ladies to bring a plaite. Any members unable to play please notify the secretary immediately. ! T’he Foxton Tenuis (Club advertise a dance in the Masonic Hall tomorrow night. Good floor, music and supper. Admission: Gents 2/-, ladies 1/-.
