Tiger skin is rivalling the fqr of the leopard for trimming sports suits and making all-weather hats. It has been computed that about 45,000 thunderstorms occur in the world each day, or about 1800 every hour.
Sufficient electricity to light the Sussex village of Heathfield is obtained in the process of burning chalk to make lime. Cloth of woven bamboo is now being developed in England. The new raw material for textiles is used in a process being perfected by Mr. Nanji, an Indian on the staff of Birmingham University.
