AN UNFORTUNATE FAMILY

The late Mr. George M‘Elroy, who, with his wife and two children, was killed in the level crossing smash at Ongaruc, was a former Fcilding resident (says the Post’s Feilding. correspondent). His family has suffered a series of misfortunes. A little while ago his mother and sister were seriously injured in a motor accident. Then the" brother, while driving a lorry, collided with a cyclist, who was killed. Next his father was seriously injured through being kicked by a horse. Last Sunday his brother’s shop and dwelling were completely destroyed by fire. The parents are now prostrated by tlu* tragic Ongarue affair.
