RECEPTION AT. RAROTONGA

ARRANGED

The Government has received advice that the mail steamer Makura, with the Prime Minister and party on hoard, is expected to arrive at Rarotonga to-day. The Cook Islands Administration has arranged a reception for Mr. Coates at Rarotonga, which is the first New Zealand territory to be touched at on the voyage from San Francisco. The Makura is due at Wellington on Monday morning. Mr Coates will be accorded public receptions at Wellington and Auckland.
