ODDFELLOWSHIP.
A fraternal visit was paid lo Fox ton on Tuesday evening by members of the, Loyal Mann wain Lodge (Palmerston X.), fifteen gentlemen and seven ladies making the trip. The meeting was presided over by Sister Cliurcher, N.G., and local members wore greatly impressed by the eapable manner in which this lady carried out the duties of her office. Opportunity was taken of giving Hie minor de-
grees and lectures. There were four Lecture Masters present from Palmerston N. The initiation of one member and tin: installation of new officers was carried out by the officers from Palmerston N. During the evening Bros. Wlm. Nye, senr. and A. G. Huntley were appointed delegates to the annual meeting of the Wanganui District, which opens at- Foxton to-day, in the Masonic Haiti.
Officers were installed as follows: —N.G., Sister Reader; V.G., Bro. 0. Jacobsen; G.M., Bro. W. Nye, jnr.; E.S., Sister L. Thompson.
After the business was over, refreshments were handed round by brothers and sisters of the local Lodge, and the Lodge closed after one of the most enjoyable, and social instructive meetings the local Lodge has experienced.
