ATHLETICS.
At the electric light sports, held in Levin on Monday evening, E. Ball won the 100 and 300 yards Junior Handicaps. In the cycling events, G. Aldridge won the three lap junior .Handicap from scratch by a length. Time 2 min. 10 1-5 sec. Aldridge also secured a seend place in the five lap Junior Handicap, from scratch. In the half mile cycle handicap G. Coley (90 yards), ran second in his heat but was not placed in the final.
In the half mile junior handicap, G. Aldridge from scratch came first in his heat and E. Coley (80 yards), was placed second in his. heat but neither was placed in the final.
