BOWLING.

The final round in the Triangular Shield contest will be played on the local green to-morrow afternoon. The aggregate scores for the lavo rounds already played tire as follows:—Shannon' (six rinks), 119 points; Levin (six rinks), 118: Foxton (four rinks), 56. The average per rink to date are: —Shannon, 19 5-6 points; Levin 19 2-3 points; Foxton, 14 points. The teams to represent the local club to-morrow appeared in a previous issue.

Bowlers and members of the Croquet Club are requested to take a basket to assist with the catering.

The Centre has arranged a match with Woodville, Pahiatua, Dannevirke and Eketahuna, on Saturday Of this Aveek, to be played on Northern and Palmerston greens. Two players from Foxton have been invited to participate. A visit Avill be paid to Wellington on Wednesday, February 16th., leaving Palmerston North by the Limited at 6.50 a.m., returning by the same train leaving Wellington that night at 7.15 p.m. Twelve rinks are wanted. Matches will be played in the morning at 10 a.m., with Hataitai, Newtown and Kelburn, and a centre match against Wellington Centre at 2.30 p.m, in the afternoon. Foxton is asked to send players.
