Christchurch, Last Night.
A Christchurch family claims to be interested in valuable estates in Lancashire, estimated to be worth £20,000,000.
The following are the parties interested : John Tabley, civil servant, Linwood; Henry A. Tabley, civil servant, Linwood; James Tabley, farmer, Linwood; and Mrs. -Shaw, Linwood. ■ The members of the Tabley family state that information Concerning the estate reached them indirectly. They learned that one Horrocks in Australia had gone to England, making a claim for a share in the estate, the income from which was about a million a year.
The estate being claimed Avere known as the Tabley Estate. The only other Tnbleys known Avere in Australia and Avert* related to the claimants. Horrocks had collected much documentary evidence but had been advised by his solicitors to abandon his OAvn claim and spend his money in establishing the Tnbleys’ claim.
The Tabley family in Christchurch are endeavouring to get inio touch with Horrocks. Tavo members f the family will go to England to act in conjunction with Horrocks 1 .
The facts on which the claim is based make a long story but the Tabley family base their claim on descent from one John Tabley, who was forcibly and it is alleged illegally dispossessed of the property in 1307.
