Mr and Mrs J. M, Barr are spending a holiday at Rotorua. Mr. J. W. Stevenson, of Hastings, paid a brief visit to Eoxton friends on Tuesday.
Mr. 11. R, Dent, of Dent’s Publishing House, London, and Mrs. Dent, are staying with the Rev. \V. Dent at Palmerston North.
Mr. G. Bulloek-Douglas has been appointed editor of the Wanganui Chronicle. Some years ago Mr. Bulloek-Douglas was sub-editor of the Wanganui Herald, relinquishing that position to enter into a journalistic enterprise in Auckland.
