GAMING HOUSE KEEPERS

Timaru, January 19
In the Magistrate’s Court, before Mr. C. R. Orr-Walker, S.M., A. Huston and W. Karton were charged with keeping a common gaming house and bookmaking, and C, Sloaeombc was charged with assisting Karton in the conduct of a common gaminghouse. The second charge against the first two was withdrawn by the police. All accused pleaded guilty, and were each fined £IOO. Sloaeoinbe was allowed one week in which to pay.
