Symptoms suggesting food poisoning were noted in the case of Myrtle Spanhake, aged 21, who died within a few hours of admission to the Auckland Hospital on Friday night. At the inquest to-day the mother of deceased said her daughter suffered from haemorrhage, of the kidneys three months ago, and was laid up for a week.
