RICHARD DIX AT TOWN HALL.
The third Richard Dix success on end, “Say it Again,” heads a fine programme at the Town ,Hall Cabaret to-morrow, Wejdnesdiay, evening. Patrons who remember “Womanhandled” and “Let’s get Married,” will he on hand early to see this latest comedy drama. Richard Dix in this one is mistaken for the Crown Prince of Spezonia and discovers that the beautiful Princess is the girl he has tavelled over half the world to find. With the help of the “standing army” of nineteen, led by Chester Conplin, lie set out to press his suit with what humorous results can he well imagined. The supporting list includes a Special ic-omcdy “Salute,” a, further series of screen snapshots and the latest Australian News. Cabaret prices.
A special sporting programme has been selected for Thursday evening. It is headed by the only feature in which the famous boxer, Jack Dempsey, and his wife, Estelle Taylor, have appeared together in it is titled “Manhatten Madness,” and tells of a Westerner who, on coming to New York, complained of the lack of excitement until his friends set to work and provide some fights, for him. The second feature is “Riding for a King,” a fine racing drama in which the world’s famous jockey, Steve Donoghue, plavk the leading role and is supported by Carlyle Blackwell and Violet Hopson. Prices as usual. Friday will witness the screening of Percy Marmont’s dramatic success “The Street of Forgotten Men.”
