CONFISCATION ORDER.

Christchurch, Dec. 22. Some weeks ago, Edwin J. Pearson, hairdresser, was before the court on a charge relating to an “indecent document,” a cigarette case bearing a picture of two nude girls. Pearson kept the offending cigarette case in bis shop, and to-day the police sought and obtained an older for confiscation. Pearson denied that it was kept for purposes of sale or exhibition.
