LOSS OF MEMORY.
A strange case i f loss of memory is reported from Palmerston X. On Sunday morning a man walked into the watchhouse seeking his own whereabouts. “Can you tell me what, town 1 his is,” lie asked the constable in charge. “I’ve got no idea bow I got here.”
All the information tno stranger could give was that be thought lie hud been working in an office in Auckl'md. He is now in hospital receiving medical attention. The Police description of him is ;,s follows Age, about 30 years; height sft. Din.; round featured, clean shaven, pale complexion, of strong build and smart appearance, hair bvuslipd back. His suit is navy blue in colour and lie wears black patent leather shoes. An overcoat in his possession is of grey cheek tweed, while a greyislibrown hat bears the name of an Auckland ,irm. A silver cigarette ease in his nous,'- ion is inili ailed “C.L.”
