At a meeting of the provisional committee of the Dobson Disaster Relief Fund, held at Greymouth last night, it was decided to make a special Christmas grant from the fund to the widows and dependants of the victims, ft was further decided that the objective of the fund should be to provide an adequate pension for each of the dependents, the total sunn required for this purpose being estimated at £12,000, which would he later apportioned by the advisory committee proposed to be set up at a public meeting in the JTew Year.
