A FLYING VISIT.

Blenheim, December 20. Captain Buckley, with Mr W. Williamson, of Christchurch, as a passenger, arrived at Blenheim by aeroplane at 12.50 p.m., after a smart trip of two hours and five minutes from the Wigram Aerodrome. Mr Williamson, who is the contractor for the headworks of the Marlborough hydro-electric scheme, is paying a hurried visit to the works. He intends returning by the aeroplane this afternoon. Heavy weather was encountered en route, especially near Kaikoura, whore Tain was experienced. The machine, D. 11.9, is the one Captain Buckley used on the aerial survey in the Foxton district.
