SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL
The executive committee meeting of the swimming baths carnival was held last evening at the residence of Airs Pearson. Those present were Afesdames Perreau (in the chair), Pearson, Barron, Spring and Fuller and the lion. Secretary (Mrs Downes). The secretary presented the balance sheet which showed a credit of £905 19/-. The committee expressed satisfaction at the splendid response made by I lie public to the effort. Tt was decided to deposit (lie money in the P.O. Savings Bank. It was decided to call a public meeting for Thursday evening next for the purpose of presenting the balance sheet and In discuss the question of site, etc.
