HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. The High Commissioner’s Cablegram, dated 18th inst., l’eads: — Manila market firm and closed quieter, J. grade, October-December shipments, sold at £4B, and Janu-ary-Alarch shipments £47 10/-. Output from Ist January to 30th November 1,1(50,000 bales, against 1,138,000 for same period last year. Stocks in Manilla at 30th November 150,000 bales against 164,000; Great Britain, 6,428, against 29,374. Sisal market irregular, on report, Mexican offered at £3B 10/, c.i.f. Great Britain. Fair demand for No. 2 Tanganyika at £4l; little offering. New' Zealand market quite but steady, with little offering. I-lighpoints, December-Febru-ary shipments, quoted sellers £3B 10/-, and fair £36 10/-.
