RETURNED SOLDIERS’ SHOP DAY.
The local Returned Soldiers’ Reunion Committee conducted a shop day last Saturday, which proved a great success. The following is the competition list: — Cake stand, Mrs. Staff; coal, Mrs. E. Parkin; Hour, Mrs. R. Colev; silk braces, Mr. T. Fuller; silk hose, Mr. S. Weight; sucking pig, Mr. M. Connolly; lamb, Mr. A. Stevenson; dinner jacket, Mr. W. Williams; firewood, Mrs. B. Dunn; dinner, Mrs. Tregell; hearth rug, Mr, P. Honour; Christmas cake, Mrs. Roehfort; silk shirt, Mr. H. Hughes; ham, Mr. R. Byne.
