In the Supreme Court at New Plymouth, Colin Leighton, auctioneer, of Stratford, was admitted to three years’ probation on Tuesday for the fraudulent use of money due to his clients. The conditions included the payment of £SO towards the cost of the prosecution, and accused is not to engage in the business of an auctioneer or agency during the term.
