FOXTON BEACH

MEETING OF IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Foxton Beach Improvement Committee was held in Palmerston North last week, Mr C. H. Whitehead presiding. Various matters were discussed with a view to making the beach more attractive and comfortable for visitors, and it was decided to have two water heaters installed alongside the artesian flow. It was further decided to lay down two more tennis courts and a tender was let for this work.
