RIVER EROSION AT THE WHARF.

Yesterday members of the Foxton Harbour Board visited the south end of the wharf, where an erosion is taking place, despite the large rocks that have been placed at this point. At the meeting, held subsequently it was decided that the local'committee further, inspect the damage when the river is low, and if necessary, have some tow sunk to prevent further erosion.
