The well-known local confectioners, J. F. and C. R. Desmond, have through increasing business, found it; necessary to move into more commodious premises at the north end of Main St., and are now established in the shop recently vacated by Mr Josh Billings, cycle dealer. These premises have been thoroughly renovated and offer convenient facilities for the service of the buying public. As Desmonds say, although they were not the successful tenderers for the Town Hall stall they are yet not far away. The shop next Post Office is also making special preparations for the Christmas trade.
