THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wired at noon to-day as follows: The indications are for Southerly winds strong to gale. The weather will probably prove squally with heavy showery. The night will probably be very cold. Barometer rising and the weather should improve after about 30 to 48 hours. Seas very heavy. Tides good.
